Meet the founder
of Bravo’s
Bakery, Chef Sonja
Bravo.
As a young girl,
Sonja often dreamed of establishing
a family-owned bakery
business. On many occasions,
she found herself in the kitchen,
baking for family and friends’ birthday
parties and special
holidays. Much like
her grandmothers,
who provided the
inspiration for her
dream, she quickly
realized that she
had a knack for baking.
This led her to attend
The California Culinary
Academy in the San
Francisco Bay Area
where she was born
and raised. After
graduating, Sonja
began her career
as a pastry chef
working in numerous
bakeries located
in San Francisco
and along the Peninsula.
With over 8 years
of experience in
the foodservice industry,
Sonja’s passion
for baking is evident
in her exceptional
attention to detail
and flair for designing
unique and festive
creations. With her
dream now a reality,
Bravo’s
Bakery has designed countless
cake creations for special
occasions including weddings,
anniversaries, birthdays and
more!
